Reducing Tenant's Overpayments
A number of landlords have complained to us that they are being hit by tenants who are having part of their payment taken to pay for previous overpayments.
However, few know that you can get the amount that is being paid reduced, and therefore, the tenant can pay you more. If you are getting direct payments, you will see the benefit right away.
How we help
On behalf of your tenant, we will write to the council referring to the appropriate legal wording to reduce the amount being taken each month.
